Begleys is currently looking for self-motivated professionals who are seeking job experience and a breeding ground for growth. This person will work as a Fresh Produce Operative in our warehouse, a very fast paced and multilingual environment.
Responsibilities:
- Depalletizing product and loading the line.
- Grading and handling products as instructed by the company and in line with customer specifications.
- Placing of correct labels on the appropriate products.
- Packing, packaging and wrapping of products, either by hand or using a production machine adhering to quality standards to protect product quality and minimize damage and waste.
- Unloading line and stacking pallets.
- Conscious of the quality of product being packed, alerting the Team Leader and QC with concerns.
- Verifying the order requested against the order delivered.
- Collection of labels from labelling room.
- Organizing products on pallets for delivery.
- Regrading and repacking rejected products.
- Always keep machines in a clean and workable manner.
- Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notify supervisor immediately.
- Work in a safe and diligent manner.
- Keep the working area free from debris and hazards.
- Cleaning duties as required.
Quality and Health & Safety responsibilities:
- Comply with quality systems and standards, procedures, SOPs to provide safe, legal, and high-quality produce, and to meet our responsibilities to our clients.
- To be aware of the risks that might be exposed to and comply with safe work practices and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Secondary level education.

- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 20kg.
- Attention to details: The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently.
- Dexterity: skill in performing tasks, especially with the hands.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Cooperation: The ability to work effectively with others to achieve a shared goal - even when the object at stake is of no direct personal interest.

- 6:00 to 14:30
- 15:30 to 23:30
