As our Compliance & Sustainability Officer you will lead the work in an important area of development. You will be responsible for action plans and reporting key processes related to governance, risk, and compliance, as well as contributing to various improvement projects within the company. The Compliance & Sustainability Officer will be part of the ESG team and will report to our Chief Sustainability Officer.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Establish and implement the annual plan for governance, risk, and compliance.
- Responsible for corporate governance reporting and compliance reporting.
- Follow-up, support, and control of compliance in portfolio companies.
- Establish and implement action plan for internal control activities.
- Annual review and implementation of necessary updates and changes in the internal control system.
- Establish a system for risk analysis and risk management and conduct risk assessments.
- Participate in relevant improvement projects within the company.
- Participate in sustainability reporting activities. Stay current with legal requirements, regulations and industry practice related to governance, risk, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (law, economics, or technology).
- Minimum five years of experience in a relevant role, preferably within compliance, controlling, and corporate governance work.
- Experience from working with ESG/sustainability.
- International experience is an advantage. Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
